What do I do for a living? What the fuck DON’T I do? Every morning when I wake up, I piss pure excellence then prepare myself for whatever the Verse can hurl at me. I live a simple yet lavish life. At the end of the day, all I’m aiming for is more credits on hand than I started with; Bonus points if I can get it done without losing any body parts. I focus my efforts mainly on the transport and distribution of…shall we say…highly coveted items to areas that do not officially appreciate the existence of such luxuries. I am the man that allows the rich folk to party, the poor folk to resist, and the crazy folk to blow the fuck out of everybody else. There are no morals in accounting. More credits are always better than less credits, which is a simple principle that I have followed since birth.

What can I say? I’m a man of the people, and I’ll move them too if you pay the right price. I’ll take any passenger you need, willing or not, to wherever you need ‘em. I got no qualms with moving slaves, assassins, or even standing platoons if you’ve got the creds to cover ‘em. And I’ve got the clout to pass freely through any territory, alien or not, without local interference. That is because life among the stars is a life that is measured in who you know, and who you’ve dealt with. Those that know me have profited well from that knowledge, while those that I’ve dealt with can never forget.

Over the years I have developed a close relationship with our industrious neighbors, the Banu, using the advantage of familiarity that my Merchantman offers me. There is no better place to conduct a deal than in the conference room of Goldblum’s Folly, and I challenge any being to find me a more comfortable conference chair than my personal Gelomax-350.

The Folly and its extensive list of commercial dealings is the legitimate mask that I wear overtop my true nature, disguising my movements and actions as nothing but the aimless wanderings of yet another trader. I serve only myself and those I call friend, and answer to no man but the mighty Montoya.
