"The MISC Prospector; Tools For Those Who Work"
This is our team's entry into the Star Citizen MISC Prospector Commercial Contest. The video had to be no longer than two minutes and use only original or official Star Citizen music, sound, and imagery. All footage in our video was recorded in-game by us at 3440x1440 (21:9). All sound effects are either directly from the game or part of the original score.

Here is our entry on Spectrum:

Hope you all enjoy. The contest ended last night... no idea when the results will be announced.

Holy shit.....

That was, hands down, the best ship commercial, ever.

If that doesn't win, I will be astonished.
Thanks! We put a lot of effort into it.

This is by far the best video, very good and very professional, really shows off the beauty of the game too.
I really appreciate that. Between the three of us, we have real world marketing, advertising, commercial writing, filming experience and we bring it all to the table. We research the existing ship branding and the ship itself. We try to write something that matches the ship but incorporates the existing marketing (images, music, etc). We also approach these commercials assuming the video should not only show off the ship, but the game as a whole. We try to showcase the detail of the 'Verse, the scale, the gameplay surrounding the ship, and on and on.

All of you should be proud, I was genuinely blown away and am 100% sincere in my previous comment. You’re setting the bar really high for your next video.

Now to everyone else don’t forget to vote it up on spectrum:

Like I told DamnShame, professional quality. Great work.
Thanks. Shame nailed the voice work. I was blown away.

Thank you!

now i feel like i want to buy a prospector haha. Btw what's up with the change in video quality at 1~25 seconds. it went from pretty blurry to suddenly super crisp while climbing the ladder.
I was actually the only one in my team to NOT own a Prospector. I'm more of a dog fighter myself.
As for the video quality change, I'm not seeing it during the hangar/ladder scenes. Are you sure YouTube didn't just crap out for a second or two on you? Maybe refresh the video and see if it happens again?

It really does show. Honestly, it's not just on par with CiG's commercials, it beats them. It's just spectacular work all around. The only thing that was discernible between this commercial and a full blown production was that the audio wasn't recorded in a full blown studio. If you had a proper sound stage, it would have been flawless. As it stands, the visuals, writing, and voice performance were spot on and inspiring. Amazing job!
