Putting a spin on static in-game screenshots, this video is a 4k compilation of four parallax effect clips I created using in-game screenshots from Star Citizen Alpha 2.6. These use a technique commonly called “Parallax Scrolling” which: “is a technique in computer graphics and web design, where background images move by the camera slower than foreground images, creating an illusion of depth in a 2D scene and adding to the immersion. Some Gorgeous Timelapses of Star Citizen

Slow tracking time-lapse video clips I recorded while playing Star Citizen Alpha 2.6 using a technique I developed over the past few months in combination with Star Citizen’s new “Director Mode” camera controls. I ended up using about 1 hour and 55 minutes worth of footage that I speed up into the 15 minutes you see.
